Greater Baltimore Swing Dance Committee

The Greater Baltimore Swing Dance Committee (GB Swing) is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting swing dancing and swing music in the Baltimore area.

We host dances every month on the second Saturdays. Our dances attract swing dancers from the Greater Baltimore region and beyond. Visit our Dances page to learn more about our upcoming dances or our Where to Dance page to find other local lindy dances.

Although we count them among our friends, we are not affiliated with the Avalon Studio, Charm City Swing, or Lindy Hoppers Unlimited.

New Legacy Jazz Band - January 12, 2008

What a great dance we had with Blue Sky 5. Their new sound system filled the room with their great sound without being overpowering, even directly in front of the band.

Come join us for our first dance of the new year on Saturday, January 12 with the New Legacy Jazz Band.

As always, the band starts at 9PM at the Avalon Studio, preceeded by a free beginners swing dance lesson at 8PM, admission $12.
