We're all for getting out of Baltimore and checking out the larger lindy world. By now you've probably checked out the DC scene. But there's a whole world full of lindy hoppers out there - within driving distance and beyond. Pittsburgh hosts the PittStop Lindy Hop each November and DC hosts its famous DCLX each April. These are some of the best exchanges in the country. Few local dancers realize the high quality of the swing dance scene in York, Pennsylvania - only a 45 minute drive from Baltimore. And Philadelphia hosts many events throughout the year worth the short drive.

Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, and Houston are all known or the quality of their swing dance scenes. Many smaller American cities have dances that are very accessible to weekend travelers. Check out the link at the bottom of the page for more info.

There is a short list of other links to dance camps around the country/world on our links page in the column on the lefthand side of the screen. Check it out!

Here's a link to a list of swing forums around the world. Before you go to a swing scene, you may be able to get inside information about venues, lodging, etc...      http://www.thelindyhop.com/
