The Greater Baltimore Swing Dance Committee (GB Swing) was founded on July 4, 2004 to preserve and promote the swing dance scene in the Greater Baltimore region.

The committee members are:
Ted Elser

Ted Elser is the Vice President of the GBSDC. He also organizes volunteers for the Committee.

Ted has been Swing dancing since 1989 though he did Contra dancing before that.  He is a founding member of the FlyCats and has performed with them at the White House and the Kennedy Center.

For birthday presents (February 12) he wants Mercedes automobiles.

Roy Film

Roy Film has stepped down from the GBSDC, but can't figure out how to remove this bio.

Kristen LeChevet

Kristen is the Secretary of the GBSDC. She also handles marketing for the dances.

She has been a Lindy Hopper since 2003. Kristen joined the FlyCats performance team in 2004.

Between dances she works as a mad scientist at Johns Hopkins.

Cris Mollenkopf

Cris Mollenkopf handles media/marketing for the GBSDC.

Cris began East Coast Swing dancing with the Boston Center for Adult Education in 1995. She discovered lindy hop after moving to Baltimore and has been a student at the Avalon Studio for the past 2 years. She became a member of the FlyCats in April 2004.

Chiles VandenBoscheChiles VandenBosche maintains the website, hires the bands, and teaches for the GBSDC.

He has been swing dancing since 1998 and began teaching at the Avalon Studio in 2001. He has taught workshops in venues such as the American Lindy Hop Championships, the Virginia State Open and as a regular guest instructor for the Washington Swing Dance Committee. He has been a member of the award winning Avalon FlyCats since 1999. In 2003 Chiles took 1st place at the VSO for the Open Jack & Jill Lindy Hop Fast.
